They are a paladin as well, so I've taken up this as well as conjury to help keep them safe. But none of the others from here remember them - they have others who were in this role."

"I know most of them are largely free of blame. But I've had people cast doubt and question the traditions my own people hold dear. It's not quite the same, I know." Every instinct in him is telling him to not turn his back to them, but he ignores it and does so, opening the door for them and stepping out first.
