"I'm afraid not," Lucia Corina says with nervous regret. "I have not the slightest martial skill, I'm quite useless in a conflict." She takes another step backwards, looking over her shoulder to make sure the mirrors there aren't producing more hostile entities.

The other girl has a knife and apparently the ability to cast fire, so perhaps they aren't entirely doomed. Lucia Corina is so tired of needing to be saved, she just wants to be somewhere safe.
