The hat does, in fact, hit Shang Beida in the face. He catches it, blinking, and looks at it. It looks like... the evil version of Mario's hat? The guy who threw it... also kind of looks like the evil version of Mario. Okay. Sure. Why not. "I'm sorry about your... involuntary hat?" he offers, unsure if the guy is like an actual villain or not. His hand is ready to form a sword seal if he gets violent, but for once he's not instantly cowering.
