This deck unsettles him, and did so even before the presence of another Hydro dragon (he is still not entirely sure what to think of her, this supposed other half of himself). The worst was seeing a version of himself in a tall mirror, one just tall enough to show the tip of a blue-water guillotine -

Neuvillette did not run from that one, but he did turn and stride away at the highest dignified speed. Not all of the water in that chamber had been from things crashing out of mirrors.

The whole deck is mazelike, but he has come upon some few people - few enough that a familiar figure is a relief. Still, after his encounter with other-Wriothesley, he should be sure.

And so there are not-quiet footsteps across the clean floor, the small sounds of moving cloth, even before the blue shape enters the view of the variation reflections around the young man. "Casper? Are you well?" From how the air around him feels, it's a foregone conclusion that the answer is no.
