"I've encountered some few such computers, yes," Eula says. "Largely from lost civilizations, by some or another definition. Allagan computers certainly possess a... type of personality, though they do not seem to possess souls, at least not as we understand them." Living Memory, on the other hand... "Whether such a being can be considered a 'person' is an open question. I suppose I would have to say yes, if only out of spite."

If they decide that there is a certain minimum amount of soul required to be a person, after all, what difference is there between them and Emet-Selch?

"Still, those do seem fairly reasonable. I presume the lack of crew inhibits its ability to make such repairs in any kind of effective manner." Which, like, fair enough.
