SO BELOW - EVENT LOG
SO BELOW
Not that you'd know it, looking out the windows. A foreign ocean stands outside, on the other side of the glass - the ghost of an ocean, long gone from the truth of this world.
Just like so many other things, which have become visible to those who are willing to pay attention.
This is the event log for SO BELOW. Information for the first part of the Event (days 15 and 16) can be found here, along with sign-up options for the second part of the event.

He'd seen the redhead he'd made tea with honey for a few times over the past day or so, but any intention to go check on him had gotten derailed. He was glad that he looked a lot more lively - last time they'd talked... well, talked might be an overstatement, Wriothesley had done most of the talking - he'd definitely seemed more like he should be in bed, so Wriothesley had sent him back there once he'd brewed him some chamomile tea.
There's a slight throb of pain in his temple at the question. "No, no, I'm fine. Just... thinking about home, I guess. Where I'm from, this is the view out of the windows pretty much all the time."
There's a trickle of unease down the back of his spine. Something is wrong. He doesn't know what yet, but he's sure it'll come to him. He can figure this out.

Loathe as he was to think it, and even more to admit it, it was the truth. And he wouldn't wish to mislead his new friend.
"Last time I did not end up receiving your name- nor giving you my own. I am Argenti, a Knight of Beauty. Whom do I have the honor of speaking with?"
Argenti's smile gains weight, his expression deeply sympathetic, "Ah, homesickness." A feeling he was all to familiar with, he gazes out the window himself, taking a moment to appreciate the view in its entirety before responding.
"... It is a wonderful view. The ocean is so vast, perilous, and yet its beautiful mystery entices us all, does it not? And endless cascade of water... in which dances light..." he turns to look at his friend again, "I'm sure the view from your home is a wonder to behold, just as this one."

"My name is Wriothesley, and I have to say the honour is all mine, Argenti. I don't think I've ever met a Knight of Beauty before. What kind of order is it?" He's heard of the Knights of Favonius, though he hasn't met any of them either. Somehow, knights don't wind up in prison that often.
As Argenti starts talking about the view, his gaze drifts back towards it and the words start to fade as a ringing in his ears picks up. He winces as pain lances through his temple, shaking his head. How could he let himself get distracted like this? He should have remembered that appearances are deceiving. Maybe it was the way Argenti's formal speech could almost sound like Neuvillette that had lured him into trusting him. He shook his head again. Maybe it would be better not to let on that he knew. Then Argenti wouldn't be able to pass any signals to the cops to let them know that Wriothesley knew they were on their way. "Sorry. I have to go." He couldn't help the way his tone dropped a few degrees in temperature as he stepped back from the window. "We'll talk soon."
And that's a threat.

Argenti smiles, abashed, at the flattery, "Please, you are too kind, Wriothesley." he tests the name on his tongue, it is another one unfamiliar to him. Yet another world he has yet to set foot on. At the inquiry Argenti visibly brightens in demeanor, "Ours is an order of Beauty. Of devout service to the ideal of Beauty as shown to us through the actions, life, and miracles performed by the Goddess Idrila, Aeon of Beauty. It is our sworn oath, and honor, to spend our lives spreading the tales and beauty of THEIR name throughout the cosmos. Not all Knights walk the same paths in how they portray, or service beauty, but we all share the same goal of spreading the name of Idrila, the most peerless beauty of them all. And performing acts of beauty in THEIR name."
((Feel free to have Wrio lose the Idrila info dump to possession cause oh boy. Argenti could go on for a while xD))
When Argenti looks at Wriothesley's face again his demeanor has... changed. Instead of the lighthearted smile he'd worn his brow was now furrowed with something... heavier. Although Argenti couldn't quite parse what.
Abruptly Wriothesley excuses himself, tone cold, sharp, holding none of the friendliness from before.
Confused and deeply concerned, Argenti steps forward, not touching Wriothesley, but placing an arm out in front of him, fingers and palm open, to halt his path, "Apologies, Wriothesley, have I somehow offended you?" his expression was full of unadulterated distress and concern, "I assure you I meant no insult to you or your home. I am sorry if I came across insensitively." Words... words often failed him. To his constant frustration.

That's a very genuine request - Argenti's been ill, it wouldn't be a fair fight in the slightest and Wriothesley would feel awful about it. It wouldn't stop him, not with so much at stake, but it's something he'd rather not have on his conscience.

Argenti blinks in confusion, "The... 'police'?" from the context of the statement he could guess... it must be some kind of order maintaining faction, but that made no sense... there was no such group on this vessel... it was abandoned. "I have never heard of such a faction, nor would I be able of contacting them." he summons his cellphone into his hand, lifting it up and indicating to Wriothesley where a symbol showcased his lack of connection to any kind of network, "We are out of range of any kind of contact outside of this vessel, at least so far."
Wriothesley's threat does not cause Argenti to waver, but his expression grows more desperate and concerned, "Wriothesley, please explain to me what is happening, there is no need to make me do anything, I am more than willing to help you with whatever it is that is going awry." his confusion had not waned, he could not think of a reason why Wriothesley would be upset with him, nor why he would need to take such sudden action. But he could do his utmost to make amends. To help.

Wriothesley can move fast when he wants to and he doesn't give himself time to second guess. Since he's already in arm's reach he just grabs the device and pivots, hurling it into one of the nearby slightly-open doors - into a room filled with with plant overgrowth. Good luck getting that back anytime soon. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you stay in contact with them. This is too important." He is genuinely regretful. It isn't how he likes to do things. In this case, though... the ends justify the means. He can't allow them to be stopped.

Argenti's mouth falls open in surprise, glancing between Wriothesley and where his Phone disappeared amongst the foliage.
All of his instincts are screaming at him. For the first time, he actually sizes up Wriothesley. As if he was an opponent.
As if Argenti would have to fight him.
Argenti swallows, voice shaking slightly as he speaks, "Wriothesley. I am not in contact with anyone. Please tell me what is so important, I will help you. You have my word."
