SO BELOW - EVENT LOG

SO BELOW
With a slightly bump that can be felt throughout the ship, progress levels out. The skies above are threatening rain, but there aren't any drops falling from the sky... Yet.

Not that you'd know it, looking out the windows. A foreign ocean stands outside, on the other side of the glass - the ghost of an ocean, long gone from the truth of this world.

Just like so many other things, which have become visible to those who are willing to pay attention.

This is the event log for SO BELOW. Information for the first part of the Event (days 15 and 16) can be found here, along with sign-up options for the second part of the event.

Ok, so the guy's really spiraling. Ok. Quick, how do you get someone out of one of these...

Except Malos seems to come around all on his own suddenly, and angrily. Aventurine steps back as the guy reels away, as if burned by what he'd just been ranting about. Aventurine lets out an amused huff, allowing the shield to disperse. "Welcome back to your own head then, I suppose?" he chuckles dryly, wincing.

A ghost in his head...huh. Is that what's been happening? "It is rather unpleasant, I agree. I had something...similar happen a couple times. I'd thought it was just more ghost hallucinations like our resident Whistler, but you...think there's someone just hanging out up here?" he asks, tapping his own temple for good measure. It...makes sense. Still unsettling.

Malos clenches his fists, clearly upset about the whole thing. Aventurine himself was in...a much worse state coming out of his 'episodes' so...yeah. He gets it. So he brings a hand to his chin in thought. "Not sure...I was trying to get specifics out of...you? Not you. Possessed you?" He shakes his head. "Sounded...rough. Like the people here lost something really big. A home? The planet? Maybe it used to be....greener. Not like I'd know; the possible roomie in my head only showed me more of the wastes outside. ....and wreckage." And literally nothing else, because he'd been the last--

He takes a breath. Exhales. "If we put our heads together, we can probably figure something out, right?"
