SO BELOW - EVENT LOG
SO BELOW
Not that you'd know it, looking out the windows. A foreign ocean stands outside, on the other side of the glass - the ghost of an ocean, long gone from the truth of this world.
Just like so many other things, which have become visible to those who are willing to pay attention.
This is the event log for SO BELOW. Information for the first part of the Event (days 15 and 16) can be found here, along with sign-up options for the second part of the event.

Re: Guy is one step away from realizing he's possessed lmao
"Well... it never crashed," Kaeya muttered, still puzzled. "I don't think it ever did." Not according to the knowledge he actually knows about. The ghost before made it sound like it never did.
"I mean... who wouldn't, given what you saw..." Kaeya mumbles. Kaeya bitterly smiles. "I lost my family... So the idea of the chance to get them back, even in a dream..." Kaeya cuts himself off. He tries to keep up the smile, try to seem like it was some calculated ploy. Maybe it is, maybe the empathizing is just his brain using it as a tool to simply show relatability.
He couldn't ignore the idea of relatability towards his own situation..tries to focus on the other problems, "You saw nothing after that? Nothing else?"Kaeya tries to bury the small detail about himself with endless rattling, "It's not a problem. Don't worry... I won't charge you anything for my assitance~ If anything, it's interesting that if it was a hallucination, that I wasn't affected. Maybe it's something else after all." It's a joke, even if just to ignore everything concerning himself. "It's entirely possible you brushed by an entity nobody has seen yet! Which is both... interesting and concerning."
Yea tired musing, hard to pinpoint if you can't physically see the problem
Aventurine raises an eyebrow, the questions helping take the focus off his shaking limbs. "How do you know it hasn't crashed? It's really old, anything can happen in 300 plus years..." he asks. Kaeya seems like there's something he's not sharing...
His other eyebrow joins the first when Kaeya talks about family. Clearly he gets it, but isn't too keen on talking about it. Just as well. Losing family is usually a more private thing, not...a planetary event used to prove why people should hate you, right? ((yes I'm aware of the irony of Aven not knowing about the whole Abyss thing here)) "Yeah. Thanks for...understanding, I guess," he says quietly, nudging the other man's elbow with his own as he walks away from the bloody mess of plants. He's sick of looking at it.
Taking pity on the man, the gambler tilts his head, thinking over the things he'd seen. "Not really, no. It looked like I was outside the ship...and there was a wreck. Maybe not the ship...I don't know what else it could have been though..." Aventurine pauses. "There was a faint smell of smoke the whole time. Maybe something was burning."
Aventurine holds back an amused snort when Kaeya keeps rambling on. Is this how Ratio feels when he gets tired and wordy like that? He gives the guy a lopsided grin. "Appreciated. And yeah, I'm glad it's not some massive effect...supposedly." He's heading towards the clinic door, which was his destination before all this. Ratio didn't appear with all the noise, which means he's either out or asleep. Time to sneak in and deal with his messed up hands... Kaeya can follow if he wants. "Could be a different entity, sure. Heliobus, maybe...those can even possess people, which is. Unpleasant I hear..."
All Roads Lead to Clinic
Kaeya glances away a bit but adds. "Let's just say I've been talking to some... rather interesting ghosts. They seemed to have been here when this world was on its last legs, but the ship itself wasn't exactly damaged. While I'm not sure what... vision you saw, I'm having trouble piecing it together unless the ship was recovered and repaired at one point."
"Not a worry," Kaeya says, though his voice doesn't exactly ring as relaxed and chipper as usual. The idea of speaking about family, everything he has lost, isn't exactly a topic he's willing to breech at the current moment. It's strange how something that's happened to you years ago still feels like it still haunts you, clings to you, like it's still a fresh wound. He simply follows behind Aventurine, leaving the bloody spot.
Kaeya nods and yawns a little bit, "That sounds like a pretty bad dream if there ever was one. I wonder if there was something other than the ship... that could make some sense." It's hard to say, especially when he didn't experience the hallucination. Kaeya winces at the idea of fire and mumbles, "I would say that it sounds like burning was probably a factor."
"I'm not quite sure what a Heliobus is... but I'll take your word for it. I'd rather not be possessed, quite frankly." Kaeya mumbles as he heads into the clinic with Aventurine. He has... been here a few times with the man, it seems like he was a magnet to the place. Kaeya wonders when he'd have to drag himself there... but he's glad it's not now.
The place is oddly quiet, but Kaeya does pipe up, "Do you want any help with the bandages? Or can you handle them yourself? I do have some experience with first aid." He keeps his tone to a normal one, not overly loud. He had done quite the number on his bloodied hands after all.
Frequent flier makes his return....again...with a guest
"Stop that, now you're gonna get me--" he stifles a yawn, exhausted, rubbing at his eyes with the back of his wrist. "Damn. But...yeah. Maybe someone talked to a ghost around here that knew more about what was out there before...all this happened?" One that's hopefully less panicked.
In the clinic, Aventurine does a quick once around to make sure Ratio isn't passed out on the desk somewhere. No? All clear. The doctor must be making his rounds looking for other idiots in danger. Fair, considering what just happened. He starts rummaging through for supplies, using his elbows and feet and anything but his hands to avoid smearing his blood everywhere. It would hartly be sterile. "It's not fun lemme tell ya, and it sure is making this difficult," he huffs, giving up on fighting with the door to the bandages.
His shoulders sag. "Yeah. Tell you what, you help me out with my hands and I'll tell you what a helliobus is. Deal?" He grimaces. "I...they need some cleaning too. That's gonna suck. Alot. Help would make it less terrible I think."
