SO BELOW - EVENT LOG

SO BELOW
With a slightly bump that can be felt throughout the ship, progress levels out. The skies above are threatening rain, but there aren't any drops falling from the sky... Yet.

Not that you'd know it, looking out the windows. A foreign ocean stands outside, on the other side of the glass - the ghost of an ocean, long gone from the truth of this world.

Just like so many other things, which have become visible to those who are willing to pay attention.

This is the event log for SO BELOW. Information for the first part of the Event (days 15 and 16) can be found here, along with sign-up options for the second part of the event.

"Illrya.." he repeats, committing it to memory... he would have to find some kind of way to journal the things he had learned. They seemed important to remember... and more so... he would like to honor her passing later if he could get the chance. "Your name is as beautiful and noble as the woman it belongs too," He says with a sad smile.

He lets out an amused huff of air, but it is still colored by his sadness, "My name is Argenti." right now does not seem the time or the place to use his full title, it would mean little to her, "Thank you for answering all my inquires, you yourself have been very kind. And..." He trails off for a second... considering. His expression steels, "The efforts you have put into saving this world are noble, and honorable. You have reason to hold your head high."

Argenti can hear the falsehoods in her laughter, but doesn't point them out. He couldn't blame her. One could only laugh or despair in circumstances such as hers. He was surprised to hear the addendum of 'sir' given he hadn't even given his title. But far be it from him to bother her over minutia.

Continue after she's gone... he doesn't comment, but his heart falls at the thought. Eyes glancing briefly at the nearest window... he hopes there were people who continued after she was gone... even if it was futile in the end.

"... I will do my best." He says quietly. It was a promise. Even if there was nothing left to save... it was worth honoring her memory, and the memories of those who fought as she had.
