SO BELOW - EVENT LOG
SO BELOW
Not that you'd know it, looking out the windows. A foreign ocean stands outside, on the other side of the glass - the ghost of an ocean, long gone from the truth of this world.
Just like so many other things, which have become visible to those who are willing to pay attention.
This is the event log for SO BELOW. Information for the first part of the Event (days 15 and 16) can be found here, along with sign-up options for the second part of the event.

A Lamenting Echo
Word had reached him about the incident where he'd had to be taken back to his room by Executor Federico and needless to say he was not... pleased.
He sighed, since he was alone at the moment allowing every ounce of shame and frustration weigh down his shoulders.
He... he would make it up to the good doctor later. Somehow. When doing so probably wouldn't also incite his ire for 'idiotically overworking himself'.
He's lost in his own mind, mulling over these happenings, when he hears his name echo down the hall.
"...Argenti?"
He looks up, whipping around in the direction of the voice. Startled.
There was no one nearby. Who?
He hears his name again, but this time shouted with obvious distress.
He bolts off in that direction, paying no mind to 'taking it easy' any longer.
--
It takes him a handful of minutes but he finds the person who was shouting, and is surprised and distressed when it is none other than Aventurine of the IPC. The man is grasping and pulling at the tangled vines frequently found about this area like a desperate man, shouting an assortment of names and titles as he goes, voice full of terror.
Argenti hears his own name again and his heart drops. He is right here. His face shifts into determination.
"I am here, I am here. There is no need to worry," He walks over to Aventurine's side, bending onto his knee to level himself next to him-
The ground shifts abruptly and Argenti yelps in surprise as he loses his footing and falls over. Unfortunately, crashing straight into Aventurine.
Argenti's shoulder collides harshly with Aventurine, and he is then carried to the floor, thankfully not landing directly on top of the much smaller man. The impact jars his battered body and he lets out a cut off shout as he devolves into a small coughing fit.
An echo heard, a response attempted...
"I hear you...! Just-"
The world shakes again. It's falling. Everything is falling. They're all going to die and there's nothing they can do-
rains pouring his people screaming, a yelp nearby. He can't- there's someone behind him he's going to die---"Please! No please don't-" The world lurches. Something crashes into his shoulder, making him scream. It hurts. He's going to die. He'd not found anyone yet he cant-
the Katicans can't get him yet- the chains can't come down on him yet no no no no--"NO!!"((Aventurine cries out, his eyes glazed with seeing something else. Amber shields flicker around him then solidify with his panic, his determination to preserve himself. His breathing hitches, as it seems to hurt. The shields burst outward, sweeping Argenti a couple feet away in a shower of coins. It can't be kind to his cough, that's for sure.))
It hurts. he can't- breathe-- there's too much smoke. It's all gone. They've fallen. And his injuries from the fall are getting to him, his shoulder throbbing with the impact of debris, his hands burning with cuts and blood, his head pounding- his breaths going short and staggered. He whimpers, clutching at the nearby debris. "I'm sorry...I couldn't...save you..." He's going to die. And any trapped survivors would die too because he cant- breathe- he even hears coughing somewhat nearby. So close...if he could just-
He turns toward the sound, dizzy with pain and lack of air, reaching a bloodied hand toward it. "C...can you hear me? I wanna....help....please don't...don't leave..." Don't die. Don't make me the last. Please. Please.
